Teaching and Academic Specialization

I received my PhD from Princeton’s Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, and my work is at the intersection of literary theory, film studies, and gender and performance studies. At UCSB, I teach Russian language and culture, developing my own methods, for example by teaching the language through dramatic texts.
